Happy Early Easter!
Where does she get the red hair from?
Happy 9 month Birthday!
So you have officially turned 9 months and over the past month you celebrated St. Patrick's day like a true 50% Irish girl that you are, learned to clap, give high fives and just tonight learned to put balls into one of your toys and watched them come out again and again. This last feat entertained you and I for about 30 minutes (it the smallest things we conquer together that makes me the happiest).
Also this month you have learned to LOVE yogurt which I believe has taught your father and I a huge life lesson. Lesson #352: let you digest and process the yogurt before giving you your nightly bath otherwise I am fishing out poop and scrubbing the tub while you father is finishing your bath in our bath tub. After the 2nd occurrence in one week we have caught on to this life lesson.
You are growing like a weed and at 9 months you are wearing size 12 month clothing. I do hope that you fit into your cute summer clothes that Grandma bought you a year in a advance. You see we live in Wisconsin Suri and just this weekend we received 3 inches of snow so your sleeveless 12 month clothes don't quite work yet. Soon Suri, soon. Although one thing that is working are the adorable shoes you received from your shower. We you received 27 pairs of shoes (mainly from Great Aunt Bev-thank you again) I thought it was crazy, but I must say we have worn them all and they are actually starting to wear thin!
Today we also conquered one of your fears, big fuzzy things that move. Yes that is right Suri we conquered the Easter Bunny! You see the past few month you have been petrified of stuffed animals and anything that is bigger than you and moves. So when we took you to see the Easter Bunny your father and I thought we would not get a good picture or get you to sit with him but we did. You did FABULOUS! Since you were so good the Easter Bunny said he would visit you in Illinois and bring you some fun things.
Your father and I love you Suri and look forward to next month!

Cheap Entertainment
Everyone says "They have more fun with the boxes and bows" but what about dog bowls?

Happy 8.5 month Birthday!
It is true what they say "Time flies when you are having fun or is it when you have an infant" in our case both are true. Suri mom slipped again and forgot to post about your 7th month and now look your 8th month is almost over too. I want you to know that the true reason I forget to post is because on these days we are having so much fun singing, playing with your pink fuzzy dog and just celebrating each day with you that I don't sit down long enough to write you. Right now though daddy is entertaining you in the bath (one of your favorite past times) so I can update your blog.
Over this past month you have grown so much and are starting to look more and more like a toddler than an infant, especially when you are starting to stand on your own. Yes we do find you in the middle of the room standing, maybe only for a few seconds, but you are standing. You are such a curious independent little thing that I am excited to see what you conquer next.
Also this month you have learned to wave bye bye and how to reach for mom and dad which brightens our day when we drop you off and pick you up from daycare. Other things you have learned from daycare is to share. You love to share your pacifier with Kamryn and Cole which has also lead to you sharing colds with them as well. Currently you are battling RSV which is a respiratory virus that just keeps coming back. So that has lead to a new night routine which is the nebulizer. You find it a challenge to squirm and get away from the breathing treatment so it is rather comical when I am chasing you around on the floor with the treatment. One day I will look back at those times and laugh.
A highlight this month for you was when Grandma and Grandpa Azhar came to stay with you for the weekend, just the 3 of you. You were SPOILED! You were able to stay up late, sleep with grandma and grandpa, go shopping and you even got a new tractor which I must say is your favorite toy of the week. Suri you are one lucky girl to be loved by so many.
Love you so,
Mom
