ELMO suprise!!!!
So one day not very long ago, Suri received a special package from her Great Auntie Bev ......
Poop Nugget, In THERE!!!!
So we need to celebrate the monumental life events and this is one. Since being home for a month while we are transitioning our life from Wisconsin to South Carolina we have gotten rid of the NUKS and we are potty training. I must say working with a 24 month old takes a lot of patience to master the potty but Suri has mastered it inside the house. We have not had an accident in 3 weeks but are still using a diaper during nap, bedtime and when we went outside of the house, until yesterday.
Yesterday while swimming with daddy, Suri says "poop nugget in there". Asif asked if she had pooped in her swim diaper but she said no. Then she said "Big one, out". Asif asked if she wanted to get out and pooped and she immediately said "yes". He marched her in and I'll be darn she did it!!! Poop nugget in the potty!!!!!
Such a monumental and happy moment in these parents lives. Got to love woo woo panties and poop nuggets.

So a little bit behind....
Now that we are all settled in and I think we have this kid thing figured out, I decided to start up the old blog again. So here goes:
So Suri Bird is offically 2 years old as of last Sunday and boy oh boy does she give her mom and dad a run for our money. From the minute she wakes up to the minute she goes to bed (might I say without a nuk:) ) she is on the move. We love to spend our mornings coloring, playing with stickers, drawing Elmo or trying to potty. Then we like to "go go go go on an adventure" (theme song from cat and the hat knows a lot about that-we've watched that a few times) to either a park, the zoo, the childrens museum or our latest discovery.....THE POOL!!!
That's right our little bird has turned in a fish. Please see the video below. All in all South Carolina is treating us pretty well. Lovely 88 degree days, light showers in the evenings and amazing hospitality. We do miss all of our family and friends in Illinois and Wisconsin but we are getting things ready here for when you visit. Lots of love
